First 13 plus (20kms of Gravity) Shuttle - St Helens

Depart from the Vertigo MTB St Helens Shop for the Blue Tier which overlooks the world renowned destination coastline known as the Bay of Fires. Start your ride with a stunning view to the coastline below and then roll into incredible fast, rolling single track that descends through beautiful tree ferns, big berms, and all-time flow.

Once you reach the conclusion of the first 13km of the Bay of Fires trail, our shuttle will be there waiting to take you back up to the second section so you can enjoy the epic flowing descent again. 

• Shuttle from St Helens to the Blue Tier Trailhead

• Ride the Bay of Fires 13km Descent

• Shuttle back up to enjoy the second half of the trail again

• Shuttle to St Helens VMTB shop

Shuttle Notes:

*The second shuttle will leave from the base of the first 13km at 11:15am to maintain our schedule.

Rider Suitability:

This trail is for experienced mountain bikers only. You need to be well prepared, fit and able to ride blue intermediate features for a number of hours. You will be riding through remote Tasmanian mountain areas with limited or no easy access should you have an injury. **This trail will be closed on days that are Extreme Fire Danger/Total Fire Ban deemed by the Tasmanian Fire Service. Vertigo MTB will exchange shuttle services or day of departure in these circumstances.
